The Premium USGG Online Grant Writing Course is for people who are currently working with a nonprofit organization, or ones trying to advance their grant writing skills and want to work on a grant proposal during the self-paced course.  Participants receive feedback from the trainer as they develop one grant proposal to be submitted to a prospective grant maker at the end of the course. Targeted research is included to assist the student in identifying prospective funders for their projects. Profiles of several private foundations that share the applicant’s interests and geographic location will be provided with contact information, grant guidelines, and grant deadlines. Up to two hours of review and editing services are included with the Premium Grant Writing Course and participants have the opportunity to e-mail questions to the Instructor.

Student Successes

Not all USGG students report back on their successes, however the ones that have are winning multiple grant awards ranging between $2,000 and $2 million dollars!  To read about USGG student successes go to the Grants Blog. Twelve students have recently reported winning $5 million in grant awards in the last 12 months including two grants that were over $1.5 million each. These grant awards went to agencies in California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin for elementary/secondary education, senior services, child advocacy, transportation, family services, distance learning, universities, charter schools and faith based initiatives.

Instructor

Beverly Santicola, President of USGG, directs the course, providing each student with one-on-one mentorship and training. Santicola has more than 25 years of experience in management, including 16 years within the non-profit sector. As a federal grants reviewer, Beverly has served as Chairperson for grants awarded by the US Dept. of Health and Human Services. She also has experience in working with the US Dept. of Labor, Centers for Disease Control, Office of Minority Health, and US Dept. of Education.
