U.S.G.G. two-day Grant Writing Classes have been described as “awesome, entertaining, educational, fantastic, powerful, and practical.” Beginning grant writers, as well as seasoned professionals, claim these grant writing classes are the best they have ever attended. Most participants say U.S.G.G. grant writing seminars are far better than ones that cost two-three times more.  Information on the Grant Writing Classes in Oklahoma offered by U.S.G.G. is provided below:

Day One - For those new to the field of professional grant writing, or those wanting to improve their success rate, introductory grant writing classes in Oklahoma will be designed to provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of grant writing. Students learn step-by-step how to develop award winning grant proposals, as well as how to have 90% of the proposal done before they begin. The agenda for Day One of the grant writing seminars in Oklahoma will include 1) eleven key components of a grant proposal, 2) how to develop a good problem statement, 3) setting measurable goals and objectives, 4) five important components of a program plan, 5) how to make your case for support, 6) twenty-eight items you can have prepared in advance, 7) elements of an effective fundraising plan, 8) grant research methods and tools, 9) letters of support or collaboration, and 10) non profit fundamentals. Students will have an opportunity to work individually and in groups on their own issues in our grant writing courses. Each student that attends our grant writing classes in Oklahoma will leave with a custom designed prospect list of 10-100 foundations.

Day Two - U.S.G.G. Grant Writing Classes include 1) collaboration and partnerships, 2) budget forms, 3) budget narratives, 4) managing the grant, 5) evaluation methodology, 6) federal and state proposals, 7) criteria and rating factors, 8) large foundation proposals, 9) how to turn a denial into an award, and 10) grant writing as a career. The second day of U.S.G.G. grant writing seminars in Oklahoma will feature actual grant writing and peer review. Participants share previous experience in grant writing and bring proposals in to be reviewed. In this session the trainer shares stories of unique and creative proposals that generated over $3 million for K-12 education. With one project that taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students to build computers in less than 30 minutes and one after school program that involved students in revitalizing downtown, these stories will help participants learn how to start thinking "outside the box" and develop one-of-a-kind projects for whatever target population they serve.

U.S.G.G. partners with some of the very best grant writing training companies in the United States to deliver high quality, affordable grant writing classes in Oklahoma. While there are many grant writing trainers teaching grant writing and proposal development, most of them are boring, too technical, philosophical, too expensive, and leave you feeling like you don’t know where to begin.  In contrast, you’ll know precisely how to begin and complete a successful grant proposal when you attend one of the grant-writing classes offered by U.S.G.G.  Our training affiliates have been selected because they provide easy step-by-step instructions, quality training materials, dynamic training, comfortable meeting rooms, and affordable two-three day classes. Our high-energy trainers all have a minimum of ten years of grant writing experience with track records of success in winning local, state, and federal grants, as well as corporate and private foundation grant awards.
