Do I need a college degree to establish a grant writing career?

Your educational background is important, but secondary to your ability to write award winning grant proposals. Most clients will be more interested in results: how many grant proposals were funded and the amount of funding that was generated. Excellent spelling and computer skills are paramount to grant writing success, the rest can be learned by attending grant writing training classes and practice.
