Are there no grant writing workshops scheduled in your city? Then host one!

U.S. Government Grants offers one-day or two-day grant writing workshops that can be fully customized to meet your needs. Choose from the topics listed below, or suggest your own:
  • How to claim stimulus funding
  • Where to get new money
  • Why 50% of grant proposals fail
  • Sample winning grant proposals
  • How to develop good problem statements
  • Eleven key components of a grant proposal
  • Five-step process for program planning
  • Twenty-eight items to prepare in advance
  • Private foundation and corporate grants

  • Evaluation methodology
  • Fascinating case studies
  • Grant writing as a career

Each grant writing workshop also includes a workbook, handouts, group activities, and constructive feedback.

Two workshop options are available: a private workshop for your staff and collaborating partners only, or a public workshop for you and other nonprofits in your community.

Option 1: Private Grant Writing Workshop – Flat fee of $3000 for one-day workshop, $4000 for two-day workshop

In our private grant writing workshop, your staff will learn to write successful grant proposals that will help meet your organization’s fund development needs. All you need to do is provide the items listed below:

  • 10 – 20 participants (one-day workshop); 20 – 40 participants (two-day workshop)
  • Clean, comfortable, professional meeting room with white board

  • 20 – 25 chairs (one-day workshop); 20 – 40 chairs (two-day workshop)
  • Coffee, tea, and soft drinks
  • Snacks or continental breakfast (optional)

Our private grant writing workshops can be tailored to your organization’s needs, and are a perfect addition to your staff development training plan.

Option 2: Public Grant Writing Workshop - $299 per person

By hosting a public grant writing workshop, you and other organizations in your community can gain the knowledge and skills needed to write compelling grant proposals in just one or two days. It’s easy – just provide the items listed below:
