Online Grant Writing Courses

USGG Online Grant Writing Courses take advantage of the latest technology and are unlike any other grant writing courses in the county. Participants receive exactly the same training as offered in USGG’s highly acclaimed on site workshops. The self-paced course can be taken at any time - without losing valuable time away from the office or spending hundreds of dollars on travel expenses to Grant Writing Workshops in other states or cities.

Three Options for USGG Online Grant Writing Courses

USGG offers three options for online grant writing training as described below: Basic, Premium and Professional. All three options provide students with the tools necessary to successfully apply for private foundation and corporate grants, as well as state and federal funding. Basic: Self-Paced/Self Study Grant Writing Course - $199

The Basic USGG Online Grant Writing Course is for people who can learn on their own with a self-study program, reading material, sample proposals, website links, funding resources and writing exercises. Participants receive a PowerPoint presentation with audio and training slides, a 250 page workbook with sample grant proposals and hundreds of funding resources, and two (2) online conference consultations. Prospect research, proposal review and editing services are not included in this option.

Premium: Grant Writing Course with Instructor Feedback and Prospect Research - $499
Includes Development of One Proposal with Review and Edit by Instructor

The Premium USGG Online Grant Writing Course is for people who are currently working with a nonprofit organization, or ones trying to advance their grant writing skills and want to work on a grant proposal during the self-paced course. Participants receive a PowerPoint presentation with audio and training slides, a 250 page workbook with sample grant proposals and hundreds of funding resources, four (4) online conference consultations, and targeted grant research for private foundation funding. In addition, participants receive feedback from the trainer as they develop one grant proposal to be submitted to a prospective grant maker at the end of the course. Profiles of several private foundations that share the applicant’s interests and geographic location will be provided with contact information, grant guidelines, and grant deadlines. Up to two hours of review and editing services are included with the Premium Grant Writing Course and participants have the opportunity to e-mail questions to the Instructor.

Professional: Grant Writing as a Career - $2,500 for 10 Learning Modules when paid in advance
Learning Modules Can Be Purchased Individually at $300 per Module

The Professional USGG Online Grant Writing Course, called Grant Writing as a Career includes 10 learning modules designed to teach the basics of grant writing up through complicated grant proposals that require extensive research to describe the need for the project. Included in the self-paced course are research strategies to find hundreds of grant funding opportunities, as well as target research for project funders. Profiles of private foundations that share the applicant’s interests and geographic location will be provided to the participant with contact information, grant guidelines, and grant deadlines. Participants receive a PowerPoint presentation with audio and training slides, a 250 page workbook with sample grant proposals and hundreds of funding resources, and ten (10) online conference consultations. At the end of the course individuals will have the skills necessary to begin their own Grant Writing Career, whether it be a Home-Based Business or as a Professional Grant Writer for a Nonprofit Organization. Individuals who participate in the Grant Writing as a Career online course will have the opportunity to work at their own pace. Some students may complete the course in 10 weeks, while others with less time to devote may choose to spread the course out over several months. Participants should expect to commit 10-40 hours to the course activities for each module, depending upon the individual’s level of experience.
